OUR PROGRAM

The Challenge

Unfortunately the U.S. education system does not work for everyone. There are ambitious teens stuck due to circumstances out of their control that limit their access to learning and ultimately hinder their success in adulthood.

We believe it is important to do what we can to provide opportunity for disadvantaged youth in order to create stronger communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Supporting youth to succeed—but who don’t have access to the opportunities required for success—is how we believe the SpringBoard USA Foundation can help.

Our Solution

Boarding schools play a pivotal and transformational role in the lives of SpringBoardUSA students. SpringBoardUSA Foundation has several coed and single gender boarding school partnerships. SpringBoardUSA students are matched to a boarding school based on academic progress and extracurricular interests.

Our partner organizations work to identify and refer students to SpringBoardUSA Foundation for placement into an approved boarding school, sometimes also making a financial commitment to the student. Partner organizations conduct the initial screening of student applicants. SpringBoardUSA then works with sponsors, including individuals, couples, businesses, churches, charitable organizations or groups,  to provide financial support for one or more of the SpringBoardUSA students.
